The Ikegami Hyakuchiku-tei collection consists of 221 pieces, mainly contemporary literary materials, assembled by Matsumoto man of letters Kisaku Ikegami.

Many of the works came from artists who Ikegami had developed close relationships with.

Some of the works were commissioned by Ikegami, often including specific requests, which can be considered collaborative works between the artist and collector.
