Matsumoto City Museum of Art has been collecting artworks in accordance with the museum's policy since it opened in 2002. Collecting art materials is one of the important roles of a public art museum, and also serves to pass on valuable culture to future generations.

This collection exhibition will feature mainly paintings from the collection that has been collected so far, as well as new works acquired in 2022.
