From JR Matsumoto Station or Matsumoto Bus Terminal, take the Town Sneaker (city tour bus) on the East Course for 7 minutes [Iori Reisui (north of the art museum)] and get off at this stop, then it's a 5-minute walk.

You might be able to ride Yayoi Kusama-designed Bus Mizutama Ranbu (Polka-dot wild dance), a moving art created by Yayoi Kusama. The Bus is imbued with Yayoi Kusama's wish that “polka dots are a symbol of peace and human love. From my beloved Matsumoto City, the world will become peaceful." The only one in the world. It will run through the city of Matsumoto, Yayoi Kusama's hometown.

To ensure that you can enjoy your visit to the museum and to protect the artworks, please note the following points. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Please follow the instructions of the staff and be careful not to cause any inconvenience to other spectators.

To prevent droplet infection, please refrain from talking in the exhibition room. Also, the floors in the exhibition room tend to resonate easily. Please be careful if you are wearing footwear that makes a lot of noise, such as geta or high heels.

Please do not bring long umbrellas into the building. Please use the umbrella stand at the building entrance.

Please do not touch the exhibits, display cases, or walls. Please leave large luggage in a coin locker or at the reception desk.

Please refrain from using mobile phones in the exhibition rooms. Please cooperate by setting your mobile phone to silent mode.

Eating and drinking are prohibited inside the museum. Also, please refrain from viewing the exhibits with candy or gum in your mouth.

Please note that you cannot use any writing implements other than pencils. Pencils are available for loan at the reception desk, so please let us know if you need one.

As a general rule, please refrain from taking photographs or videos inside the exhibition rooms.

Please do not run within the building. Adults are asked to walk small children by holding their hands.

Smoking is prohibited on the premises.

Pets are not permitted in the facility.

Fresh flowers are not permitted.

Please refrain from using selfie sticks.
