This exhibition looks at the reach and diversity of the Arts and Crafts Movement by showcasing its legacies from both Britain and the United States. William Morris pioneered a movement founded on the belief that design excellence and high-quality production can enrich our lives, whether the product is crafted by hand or by accepting mechanized processes. It is hoped that the exhibition will encourage a deeper understanding of the movement’s philosophy, which remains very much alive today.
